Open Role KillSync needs a voice in New Eden.

Strategic Communications Pilot

KillSync is expanding across New Eden. We’re looking for one pilot to help increase visibility, connect with communities, and act as a direct signal bridge between real players and the ongoing development of the platform. This role is not just about outreach — it is about collecting real feedback, identifying patterns across the ecosystem, and helping shape the future direction of KillSync through direct communication with the creator.

Community Role ISK + Perks Independent Project No Code Access Required

Role summary

If you spend time in trade hubs, alliance chats, Discord communities, forums, or other player spaces and enjoy helping people discover tools that are genuinely useful, this role may be a strong fit.

The purpose of this role is not spam, noise, or generic promotion. The purpose is to help KillSync become more visible in the places where it actually solves problems for real players, corporations, and communities.

You will not be operating in isolation. This role feeds directly into the development loop — meaning useful insights, patterns, and conversations you bring back can influence what gets built, refined, or prioritized next.

What this role is not

  • Not a backend development role
  • Not a code-access role
  • Not a server administration role
  • Not a requirement to handle private infrastructure or internal systems
Right now this role is about communication, introductions, trust, and ecosystem awareness — not internal technical access.

Responsibilities

  • Introduce KillSync to corporations, alliances, and community groups where the platform is a genuine fit
  • Help onboard Discord servers to the KillSync bot through practical conversations and real use cases
  • Assist with general visibility across New Eden communities without turning the project into spam
  • Identify useful opportunities for future features, integrations, or public-facing improvements
  • Collect and synthesize feedback from real players and communities, and relay meaningful insights that can influence feature direction and platform priorities

Good fit if you

  • Are active in EVE community spaces such as Discord servers, in-game chat channels, or forums
  • Enjoy helping people discover tools that are actually useful
  • Understand how EVE organizations, corps, alliances, and player communities tend to operate
  • Can communicate clearly and professionally without sounding forced or corporate
  • Have a collaborative mindset and can bring useful feedback back into the project
  • Are interested in helping shape the direction of a growing platform

Scope and time

This is meant to be flexible rather than rigid. The right fit is someone who can contribute steadily without turning it into a second full-time obligation.

  • Flexible by design rather than fixed like a formal part-time schedule
  • Expected to fit around real life and normal EVE activity
  • Likely a few hours a week for the right pilot, depending on activity and opportunities
  • Better suited to steady signal and useful conversations than constant posting

Compensation

This role includes a flexible reward structure based on contribution and results. Depending on fit and how the role develops, support may include:

  • Direct ISK payments based on contribution and results
  • Access to advanced KillSync features or early-access perks
  • Potential support through a community-backed ISK pool as the project grows
  • Recognition within the KillSync project

Exact arrangements can be discussed privately rather than forced into a one-size-fits-all structure.

For the right pilot, this role also provides a level of influence — the ability to contribute to how the platform evolves based on real-world usage and feedback, not just internal assumptions.

What success looks like

Useful introductions Connecting KillSync with corporations, alliances, or communities that are actually a fit for the platform.
Better visibility Helping more players become aware of KillSync’s tools, use cases, and practical value.
Grounded feedback Bringing back real feedback from players instead of abstract guesses about what the ecosystem wants.
Signal over noise Improving reach and trust without making the project feel pushy, fake, or corporate.

About KillSync

KillSync is an independent project focused on building real-time intelligence tools for EVE Online. The platform combines killmail tracking, live map activity, Discord automation, CorpLink identity workflows, and multi-character dashboards to help players understand what is happening across New Eden.

The project continues to grow with new features being developed regularly, especially around practical workflows for combat, logistics, trade, corp access, and multi-character visibility.

Interested?

The best fits for this role are usually pilots who already understand the ecosystem and can talk about tools in a useful, grounded way.
