KillSync Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using KillSync, including its public website, account dashboard, Discord bot, CorpLink features, linked-character tools, search tools, map tools, or related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use KillSync.

2. About KillSync

KillSync is an independent EVE Online information platform. It may include public killmail views, search and map tools, Discord-connected services, authentication through official EVE Online SSO, linked-character workflows, operational dashboards, and other related data features.

3. Eligibility and Account Access

To use authenticated features, you may need to log in through official EVE Online SSO and authorize specific ESI scopes. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account connections, the scopes you grant, and the security of devices or sessions you use to access KillSync.

If you link multiple characters or connect Discord-related features, you represent that you are authorized to do so for the accounts or services you connect.

4. Scope of Service

KillSync may provide public, cached, synced, estimated, delayed, or third-party-derived information. Features may change over time. Some parts of the platform may be added, removed, renamed, reworked, rate-limited, or discontinued without notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse KillSync. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation:

• attempting unauthorized access to KillSync systems, accounts, sessions, or infrastructure;
• using bots, scripts, scraping, or abusive request patterns in a way that harms service stability;
• circumventing access controls, feature restrictions, or intended account boundaries;
• using KillSync to harass, spam, deceive, or disrupt other users, servers, or communities;
• abusing EVE SSO, ESI, Discord integrations, or third-party data sources through KillSync;
• reverse engineering, probing, or exploiting the platform in ways that create risk or instability;
• using KillSync in violation of applicable law, CCP rules, Discord rules, or third-party service terms.

6. Discord and Third-Party Platform Use

Some KillSync features depend on third-party services including EVE Online SSO/ESI, Discord, zKillboard, RedisQ, and related providers. Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms, rules, and policies. KillSync is not responsible for outages, data changes, API changes, scope changes, or policy changes made by those third parties.

7. Data Accuracy and No Warranty of Completeness

KillSync is provided for informational and operational-assistance purposes only. Data displayed by KillSync may be incomplete, delayed, cached, stale, estimated, or inaccurate. This includes killmail data, account data, structure data, asset data, industry data, contracts, maps, subscriptions, and related analytics.

You are responsible for independently verifying critical information before acting on it.

8. Availability and Service Changes

KillSync is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uptime, continuity, performance, feature availability, API availability, data freshness, or support response times.

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of KillSync at any time, with or without notice.

9. Account Suspension or Access Removal

We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access to KillSync, remove linked services, disable Discord-related functionality, or block abusive access if we believe a user or server is:

• violating these Terms;
• creating security or infrastructure risk;
• abusing APIs, dashboard features, or integrations;
• using KillSync in a way that threatens stability, safety, or intended operation.

10. Intellectual Property and Platform Content

KillSync's site design, branding, original text, software logic, page composition, and non-third-party platform content remain the property of KillSync or its owner unless otherwise stated.

EVE-related names, data, and intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners, including CCP ehf and third-party data providers where applicable.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KillSync and its owner will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, inability to use, or reliance on KillSync, including but not limited to data loss, stale information, missed alerts, account issues, business interruption, or third-party platform changes.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KillSync and its owner from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights or rules.

13. Privacy

Your use of KillSync is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which describes how KillSync collects, uses, and stores information.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of KillSync after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
