CorpLink — Admin Setup

Requirements

• Invite the KillSync Bot to your server and grant it Manage Roles.
• Place the bot's role above any roles it needs to assign or remove in your server's role hierarchy.

Setup steps

1. From your KillSync dashboard, open CorpLink and add your Discord server.
2. Enter your corp or alliance IDs and map them to Discord role IDs (e.g., CORP, ALLIANCE).
3. Optionally configure a Visitor fallback role for pilots without a matching corp, and set any nickname format rules.
4. Save and click Reconcile to apply roles to members who have already linked.

Common failure modes

• Bot role too low — move the KillSync bot role above all roles it should manage in Discord's Server Settings → Roles.
• Role not found — create the role in Discord first, then map its ID in KillSync, or remap to an existing role.
• Permissions revoked — re-invite the bot or re-grant Manage Roles if it was accidentally removed.
