Hello everyone,

We’ve been doing some behind the scenes work to strengthen the bot’s stability and improve uptime monitoring. Outages are rare, but we want to ensure that if something does go wrong, whether on our side or due to upstream changes, it’s detected quickly and resolved.

What’s changing:

Enhanced monitoring: Better checks so we’ll know right away if a process stalls, even if the bot still shows “online.”

Alerts & response: Immediate SMS notifications to the developers when something isn’t working correctly, so fixes can be applied before issues drag on.

Resilience: Adjustments to how the bot handles upstream changes, plus enhancements to our own local killmail retrieval. (You can help by logging in to killsync.link, which contributes to keeping killmails accurate and up-to-date.)

General stability: Expect fewer hiccups and faster recovery. We’ve also added CPU cores and memory to give the system more breathing room. We are also working on new indexing methods to speed up the website.

These improvements are all happening in the background, you don’t need to change anything on your end. The goal is simply to make KillSync more reliable day in and day out.

As always, thanks for using KillSync and for the feedback that helps us keep improving.
