Compressed Prismaticite

Prismaticite is an Erratic Ore. Once reprocessed, it will collapse into one of a number of different minerals. This is the only type of Prismaticite that can be used in reactions. The unique properties of this ore are a result of its fundamental dimensional instability. It was shaped in an unknowable higher-dimensional environment. This material has been compressed into a much more compact form of the original material.
